Local Hoster

Files to run webpages on the localhost (your computer). The webpage will open in your web browser, and shouldn’t need the internet.

This project is to be used to host other files you have downloaded, such as my other project, “The Last Cog”. This project includes all necessary files aside from what you are actually hosting.

If you have another way to host files, you can use that instead, as it is probably better.

This project uses Node.js, npm, and batch files to work, so if Windows gives you a warning or Windows Defender removes it, just click allow on warnings and tell Defender that it is safe. You can always scan the files, ask Google/ChatGPT about the warnings, or submit the files to be scanned virtually. These files should be safe, so you shouldn't have to do that stuff.
