Local Hoster

An exe file to run webpages on the localhost (your computer). You will need other files you have made or downloaded, such as my other project, “The Last Cog”. You do not need Node.js.

Included files:

• localhoster.exe (runs the server)
• config.txt (change config settings)
• index.html (an example webpage)
• README.txt (instructions and information)

This project uses a Node.js powered file packaged into an exe file, so if Windows gives you a warning or Windows Defender removes it, just allow the file to run anyway. Use online antivirus scanners if you want to be safe.

This doesn't mean the files you are trying to host are safe!
